Anyone installed the only factory cam from a boosted Gen III hemi? I figure it should be better than the stock cam and respond well to a 76 mm turbo. Any thoughts?

No idea. BUT this info about the Hellcat cam from HotRod:

Camshaft-wise, the 6.2L Hellcat utilizes lobe profiles very similar to the 215/221-at-0.050 hydraulic roller found the 6.4L Apache. "The Hellcat's intake lobes have 0.75mm [0.029 inch] less lift and a couple of degrees less duration than the Apache," Cowland explains. "On the exhaust side, the lift is the same, but the Hellcat has 20 degrees more duration. Although both engines have a 120.5-degree lobe-separation angle and the cam can be phased plus or minus 37 degrees, the Hellcat features a considerably different variable-valve timing map than the Apache."

I am thinking this is a good cam swap for a used 5.7, even though it is a compromise cam for smog etc. If the VVT does not effect non VVT engines, it might be a viable option. Aftermarket cams are somewhat illusive in regards to results. HR magazine has more than one junk yard turbo build, I'm scratching my head as to part numbers, price and results. Id like the Part Number for the Hellcat cam, I can't find it without the VIN.

call modern muscle extreme ask for dave weber, he has the hellcat heads and he has complete hellcat crate motors for sale. I'm almost positive he has cams and heads also. boost away.

Why not find a hellcat on a dealer lot then walk into the parts counter with the VIN. they will never know or care if its actually your car but can look up the parts that way. I could have done this locally last fall as they had one in the showroom.
