I personally never used Red X. At least not on purpose. As it has been mentioned it's not hard by accident from a cell phone. I believe its just a lazy button. And yes, many push WAY too often to just target certain individuals. And not subject and/or opinions of that subject. The argument that the green "Like' button is the same has less merit. That's to add appreciation of one's efforts. "Unlike" is different than "disagree" But I don't think an "Unlike" button would be very popular. Thus "Like" and "disagree" do not have same, but opposite value.

As many of us have posted in the past, if your gonna use the RED X take the time to explain your position/reason for dis-agreeing...

Green Agree, Yellow Thumbs Up & Blue Handshake are all positive... Therefore need no second action...

But to apply a RED X I'd like a second action to be required so you have to toggle two buttons...

I do agree that it can be easy to accidently tap the X when on a phone but I use a laptop most of the time.
There are some dorks that click the X on comments that are proven facts or a personal opinion.
A guy states that HE likes red cars and some mouth breather dipshit clicks a red X...How the hell can you disagree with what someone else likes? These flatliners also rarely explain their opinions. The majority of red Xs I get are from people that rarely comment on anything, never start a build thread and probably don't even have a Mopar. Those losers need a kick to the dick.

That's uncalled for and probably just a fat fingered mistake. This is one of the reasons Joey took the red X away over at FABO. Too many fat fingered mistakes and too many guys misusing it.
