This is not directed specifically to you but here goes...
For some, reading through a poorly structured sentence with improper punctuation is really annoying.
To those that write poorly, getting called out for their errors is annoying.
Whose rights are more important? A polite reminder might encourage a member to check their words before submitting. Wouldn't that make it easier for everyone?
If a man is walking down the street in a dress and outlandish makeup, some people will get offended.
The person dressed up as a woman might get comments from bystanders and get offended.
Again.... Whose rights are the most important?
It shouldn't require reading it three times to understand what someone is trying to write. We all speak and write English here.
If I see an old person walking slow where I cannot get around them, I accept that they are doing the best that they can. That is compassion. If a person is disabled, mentally compromised or if English is not their primary language, I think most members would overlook a few mistakes. To the others, when you consistently make the same simple mistakes, to some, it is annoying.
A gay couple sued a bakery that didn't want to make their wedding cake. There were several other bakeries to choose from but the couple chose to take a stand against the owners of that bakery. The owners had religious beliefs that differed from those of the couple. I have gay members in my family and have no hate for them. I think people of all types get pissed and sometimes want to make an example of a situation.
In the end, the Bakery owners prevailed.
This is yet another example of "Whose rights supersede the others"?
I've backed off from my grammar corrections for the most part.
Wrong . . . wrong . . . and wrong . . .

So what if they mess up with their words, we're human . . . get over it - if you "know" it's wrong, then you know their intent - read their intent and forget the mistypes.
Calling them out PUBLICLY in a Public forum does what ? ? Embarrass them ? ? Make you feel more superior for pointing out their mistakes ? ? ?
Neither answer is acceptable . . .
Whose rights are more important? A polite reminder might encourage a member to check their words before submitting. Wouldn't that make it easier for everyone?
Whose rights ? ? Give me a break ! ! Everyone has the right to freedom of speech, if you are offended by typos, then STOP reading - that simple.
PUBLICLY humiliating someone on a Forum is NOT a "polite" reminder - if you want to do it politely, send them a PM, IN PRIVATE and stop trying to make yourself look like you're better then them.
"Make it easier" - it would make it easier if everyone would "read" the intent, and answer the intended question - get off your high horse and treat everyone
as an equal - as we should.
This example of "make it easier" is completely sided to YOUR point of view - it does not take the other person's point of view into consideration.

This has nothing to do with typos in a public forum - no clue why this is even addressed.
It shouldn't require reading it three times to understand what someone is trying to write. We all speak and write English here.
If you can't understand it - then just drop it, it's not anybody's "responsibility" but the writer - leave it to the writer.
Once again, if you have a question or concern, write them a PM in PRIVATE to get it figured out (if it means that much to figure out what was said)

What's annoying is the same people correcting people over and over again - with not ever thinking how that makes them look - once again, if you're annoyed, stop reading.

Huh . . . once again, this has nothing to do with the situation of writing and having typos on public Forum
