Controller is expected to know wing clearances when an aircraft is given clearance to follow the yellow line. Not up to the crew that can't see the wing tips.

I saw nothing there regarding the MAX 8s.
If the govt gives the airline more money and the airline squander it, who is to blame? The govt owns the airline.
