I wouldn't be caught dead in a........

I fully Agree,...........I NEVER said they were "cute"

The funny thing is I saw a fully restored 4 door Aries on ebay a while back and it didn't have the standard 2.2, It was "Special", it had the "Super Rare" 2.6 Hemi engine, sounds like someone is trying to cash in on the Hemi name again :rolling:

I might have a different opinion if it was tubbed and had a 426 hemi not a 2.6 hemi

We had an 85? LeBaron 2 door. Damned good little car. Best part was the 2.2 was a non-interference motor. I had taken my mom and my gf to the mall (or some place) and the car just quit running. Seems it lost some teeth on the timing belt. And except for the belt itself NO damage was done to the motor at all.

I had 3 Shelby Chargers with 2.2s , One was a Turbo, fun little cars to zip around it.

For the time, those little turbo cars were the fun as hell. They weren't all that expensive and honestly, that little (Omni?) GLHS was a beast.

here is my charger 87 shelby glhs , i HAVE OWNED IT SINCE 89 very fun little beast and corners like on rails .

Subaru. That's because my friendly neighborhood Dodge dealership was forced out of business earlier this year and is now a Subaru store.

Also because of some Boss lyrics: "My love is bigger than a Honda, bigger than a Subaru ...".

Hey everyone, just stopping by to check out the forums, hopefully i will have a B body to go with the Scamp soon.

I second the Smart car. I got rear ended by one. sitting at a light, it came across 2 lanes and a right/left turn lane, so say 10 mph. I was in my 71 Scamp, and it hit me on the left corner of the rear bumper, it totaled itself. The cop even thought it waas amusing, and the driver asked if i had been hurt. I was to amused at the situation, i said i was fine.

Speaking of Pinto's, i was on the way to a place called Kompact Kar Korner, a local speciatly hot rod/custom car place, to check out a 70 Superbee, there was a mid 70's Pinto on a lot they were trying to sell for $3500. Wonder what they were smokin.

Yugo's, what a joke, they were crap, but you couldnt destroy them. I worked at Thrifty Car Rental in the 80's and we had some. We would sit at a light with the pedal floored and drop the clutch when the light turned green. I could never kill one.

We also had those Shelby CSX-T's, awsome little cars.

My co-worker bought one of the CSX-T's from the company, havent seen it around for a while. I think i only ever saw one black and grey production CSX going down the freeway once.

People must have thrashed those cars. I think they only made 1000 of them, didnt they?

PT Cruiser

I had a 2002, unfortunately. The only redeeming value of it was it could carry more they my 99 Explorer with the seats out. Why is the dang turning radius on those so huge??

mine got totaled, by lifted 67 Ford F-250, on 41's with a big steel bar bumper on it.

A lifted 67 F-250 on 41's front bumper, is about the same level as the rear window on a PT cruiser, you can guess what happened next.

Foreign car, a Corvette, or a Camero

I worked at a Corvette shop, actually a speed shop for a bit, Rick Stark Corvette, in Totem Lake, Wa. Yeah, GM i know, but i needed the money.

I wouldnt own one, way to much work to keep them up correctly, but i worked on some awsome cars.

Rebuilt and restored a 65 with a 327/350 hp, and put a new suspension and rear end in a 68 427 tri power. I got to drive that one, seriously a beast of a car, almost violent to drive.

Dont forget ma,s steaming pile. God I hate Aries K cars. bad as a vega

My parents bought one brand new too, a 82 Dodge 400. My mom drove it every day untill she retired in 95, and then it only got driven maybe 5 miles a week of so.

We bought my son a 79 Monte Carlo (yeah, Yeah, his choice) My favorite Monte body style though.

It had some issues, my parents had bought a 2003 Intrepid, and the 400 just sat, so they gave it to him.

Well, the little car wasnt used to being driven 60 miles a day, at 70 mph, by a teenager. SO everthing started breaking. One thing, fix it, another thing, fix it etc.

So, after the electic window reg fix, radiator switch, fuel pump, master cyl, went out one after the other, we got the Monte fixed, tried selling the 400, with no takers.

I finally had the poor car towed away and got a $500 tex credit, no one wanted it even at $200, sad

Anything from France, Italy or Spain. Not even a Ferrari???? :rolling:
