I was there from before 2000 until about 4 or 5 years ago. Not as friendly of a crew towards the end anyway and the ads were just too over the top. Why should you load all kinds of stuff just to repel the ads? Screw that just dump the site.

I was there in the very early days and well, the 'crew' back then wasn't very friendly and the cop that got killed making a U turn beyond a rise in the highway was one of the worst ones on there.....and I'm also not bothered with a bunch of ads there using Firefox too but this site is the only one that I visit using my phone. The majority of my time spent on the net is with my laptop.

I was on there before I found FxBO.

FxBO site SW is WAY, WAY more intuitive to navigate.

I found the users on moparts slightly to mildly abrasive, especially around buying and selling.

Up until the political section arrived here, there was almost no abrasiveness.


I can't remember the last time I was on moparts.

I did the same was there early on but the
threads were to say the least more about degrading the posters more than helping them. I do look there every now and then
because there is some good info in the threads there.Here is where i hangout

What's up Staten Island? Lived in Eltingville many moons ago.

Eltingville was like the country way back when as I'm sure you remember. Al Deppe's right down the street.
Now you might hardly recognize the island. Housing prices are at a all time high. Traffic is a nightmare.
But there was money to be made here and the city as well and still is
Everything is here, you name it we got it
My family moved here before WW2, this is the only place I know but change for me may be coming

As for the original topic subject, I also was there in the early 2000's and dumped them when I migrated over here to FBBO. Tom...the supposed all mighty overseer of that site...has always been a flaming *** Clown along with a very large number of the members over there. If one were to say or question anything, they would Dog Pile and basically censure you. And that was even in the Tech section. I finally had had enough and dropped them all together. As for the pop ups? As I no longer visit that site, I don't really have anything to impart. For those that do still, I and emphasis "STILL" patronize that site, to look into Privacy Badger and then Add Blocker Plus. Both will work with just about any Browser and will give you a heads up when Pop Ups are forthcoming. Or the other option is to just get the hell of that terrible site and hang with a far better bunch of MOPAR Motor Heads, FBBO...cr8crshr/Bill

Before they had a 'site suggestions' forum (not even sure if they have one now), I made a suggestion that would improve the site by a good amount.....and got banned for it. Got banned from there 3 times and said bye and well, today I noticed my 'remembership' is good which is surprising. Don't remember the year but left there when MoparStyle opened up.

My only use for Moparts to scan the classifieds, and even at that, there hasn't been much of anything for sale there that interested me.

Wow! A lot of hostility here. Aren't we all fellow Mopar people here? I've never really been on Moparts but I come to FBBO FABO a lot. Before that I was a member of BigBlockDart.com. I even designed a t-shirt for them. I've never seen it come down to this.
