I really like the ez head with the maxwedge cnc program.I run them on my stuff. They put my pump gas 440 to a best of 10.77 @123.8mph race weight of 3700#.
Okay, I know this isn't anything super spectacular, but with the Victors, an Indy single plane and a 1050 Dominator on our 500 ci motor we got 657.6 TQ @ 6000 rpm and 845.6 HP @ 7200 rpm. Ran out of dyno time before the tune was fully worked out. We were running on E85 and it made 680 HP at 12:1 AFR, 760 HP AT 11:1 AFR and the 840 HP @ 10:1 AFR. I think with some more fuel it still had some horsepower in it.
I don't believe your IQ is 52 with the information you provided above. I know it is old info so maybe you have some updates. Can you drive this on E85 on the street? What cam are you running? I have an old Edelbrock STR 14 that I would like to run with a pair of AFB's. Have you seen AFB's on E85? Thanks. I retired a couple of years ago and purchased a '65 Satellite to bring back the memories of my '65 Belvedere II and '65 Satellite I owned in '71. I never had money to make mods back then and now I want to relive the teen dreams I had back then.
Keep in mind that when you make over 600hp you are getting right at the breaking point for an 8 3/4 rear end.
Another $2500 for a DANA....one thing leads to another....lol
I just ordered a set of Indy EZ heads ported from Nick at Compu-Flow. He was one of the nicest and easiest guy to order parts from and was patient with me a and my limited knowledge of engine components.
just seen on moparts that Nick died this week. very big loss for the mopar community.
