It's about time somebody said to hell with that super high dollar Dynomat and just used their head!!!!!!!!!! I'm still working on getting my vintage air system so I'll be watching to see how it goes, are you buying the kit or doing a custom install?

Looking good!

mickey's are on

those Super Stock springs create one HELL OF A STANCE!!!!!

i bought it 3 months ago.....i spent about 6 months gathering pieces and parts and when i "thought" i was 75% of the way done i get into it......i was more like 40% at that time....now im 95%!!!!

so far it has been a simple install for the kit. there is only one thing im not to thrilled about....the routing of the pressure and return hoses. normally you can fish them thru the firewall and hide them fairly well. not with this kit. they go THRU the firewall into the wheel well and over the fender brace and back thru the inspection cover (all of the parts to do that are provided) but it looks funky.

the dynamat "kits" from C.I. or Y.O. are like a $1000......i spent $40 and nobody will ever be able to tell

I'm in process of installing the same AC kit and I agree with you the lines kit they supply that passed through the inner fender well are a little hokey. I have ordered a stainless steel tubing kit that I will custom bend the lines so they are cleaner and tighter to the inner fender well.
Awesome job on your Charger and the wheels and tires look great!

i thought about doing that but i didnt because the reall issue that would need to be solved it the inspection cover not being able to be used for a front end alignment. whoever does that isnt gonna be happy with ol vintage air.

Great build! While I have Classic Air, I also thought about running my A/C lines in the fender well to hide them. However, as you say, that means they would interfere with any alignment job, and there have to be hoses in the engine compartment anyway since the compressor is there. I mounted my compressor low and then ran the lines up and along where the heater hoses run. At an initial glance, it looks just like heater hoses, so I felt that was a decent compromise...

I’m planning to use a 4 way bulkhead mount forward of theupper control arm access cover for better tire clearance. I hope to start onthe S/S lines soon.
Thanks

ive called right stuff brake parts in ohio like 15 times and i either get hung up on, told my E-brake cable dosent exist or told some story about the secratarys kid getting a haircut.......my mistake for picking them as my kit....should have done more home work on that one

ran into a small hiccup.......the drivers side flange pipe of the TTI kit was just a tiny bit too low. this interfered with the fit of the torsion bar into the lower control arm. had to cut about an inch off of the pipe and re-weld it back together so the torsion bar would fit.....all good now

annnnnd i still cant get a parking brake cable...............

stock OEM length says 36 inch cable, but i got one and its 6 inches too short. the company that sold me the kit wont anwser the phone or call me back, and the ridiculous parts stores say "whats the year, make and model?......is that the 7.2 liter?"

UGH!!!!

tinted glass is gonna get darker

cleaned all the glass and im gonna reapply the A/C decal and scat pack emblems before the tint guy shows up to add some 18% all the way around.

i used a spray adhesive on the back and just cut it into shapes to fit the firewall, floor and roof under the headliner.

2 rolls was $76 plus a can of adhesive was like 90 total and took about an hour to cut in
