Jeff's 69 road runner

does anyone have the factory layout for the door birds. I have the layout that was on the car, but I was hoping for an original layout. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Lenny.

thanks a lot Dave but, I really need the birds layout. I have all the emblems on the car. so I'm trying to get the birds on. I have the layout for the birds that are as found but, because the car had been done once back in the day, but I am not sure if it is correct. this is a really important location, and I want it right.

OK, with the emblems in place, you lay the decals, with the notch in the paper on the bottom of the emblem, and that puts them in the proper position...

there you have it. I will be adding the 3 exterior decals in the morning. thanks again Dave. you the man.

Wow! Looking good Jeff.
Thanks for watching showard!!! Since I am here for the moment, I am going to post a new update. I also wanted to thank Dave, AKA basket case, for the layout information on this car. his help has been immeasurable. I also wanted to point out that the door emblems are not on the location that the decal backer proposed. Jeff and I had to make a judgment call. We looked at 5 or 30 supposed original car photos, and looked at the as found layout pictures, and we both felt like it looked better to us. I kind of think that only an absolute purist will be the only one who notices. More pictures to follow...

Fantastic - it looks great out in the bright sunlight!

A curiosity question though about rear seatbelts. On my 70, the outer belts bolt just beneath the interior panel on the side of the car, not where your bolt. I guess that is different between 69 and 70?
