just bought some HP Manifolds

Whatever lol people like me. The fact is his ad stated will ship in 3-5 days and it did not and as far as communication it took 5 days for him to answer to tell me he lost my parts so they never shipped and then went on to say he shipped them yesterday afternoon but has yet to provide.a tracking number. As of now I have not left.negative feedback and never have on any transaction I've ever done and won't if is comes through.

Throw another $250.00 in and buy the ones repopped at year one.not that much more money and they are brand new.just my opinion

apparently he said that he shipped them today now so Im giving him the benefit of the doubt even though he had told me he shipped them yesterday. If they arrive in a timely manner in undamaged condition then I prolly wont give him negative feedback. the money has already been spent and am going with manifolds instead of headers mostly because of cost and wanting to have my 440 swap up and running by next summer. If headers that would fit perfectly weren't so damn pricey i might go that way but the aren't cheap at all. I do like the way the hp manifolds look as well and for my goals at this time I'm sure the hp's will serve me well maybe I'll upgrade later on.

So why don't they run manifolds on race cars? Any race car? Drag. Stock car. Dirt. Road Rallye.

There is some magic in having equal length primary pipes and the length of the primary itself and designing the proper header for the engine combo is a huge benefit in performance. Exhaust tuning is a science and has been studied for most of the last century. Manifolds from an OEM production standpoint are cheap and effective, and if not full on logs, work well for mild performance applications.

The two manifolds weigh about 35 pounds combined. Pick up a set of TTI's for comparison. (If you can afford them). I don't want that extra weight or heat.
