If you go 8 3/4 you could always pull the drivetrain incl the rear center chunk for another b-body (a body housings are rare so could sell/trade the 3rd member)
Most if not all 66 V8 B body cars I've seen already have an 8 3/4
what i meant was if he puts money in the the 3'rd member he can keep the chuck and sell off the existing 8 3/4 for some bucks. I assumed he had the 8 3/4 already.
IMO. Redo the interior, make the underside bits good, leave the body as is and give it a clearcoat.
Super Rat!
You have no idea how much I miss it!!!! Well maybe YOU do...its sad we both still have our old cars as our profile pics......lolYeah buy Curt!I know you miss the silver bullet!!
Ok you have my attention.....how much for the car?
You can get from DuPont a light green epoxy primer that you can do body plastic over it and it is water proof-- great for the person that does a little of the body work at a time and can still be a driver..............MOI'd say save it. but for me the flat black has gotten kinda old lately. every tuner or 4X4 guy around here has done the flat black. I'd rather see grey or red primer myself.
