Ok now a bit confused here does a double flare mean 45 degrees? You sure about that being a 45* degree flare? The box fitting is AN, which is 37*, and so the corresponding flare should also be 37*.
Disregard. They are a double flare.

Double flare means the pipe is first flared out and then flared back in on itself - hence the double flare. I'm probably describing it poorly but that is the basic idea.Ok now a bit confused here does a double flare mean 45 degrees?
Yep.. my post #3 fell on deaf ears...
Wow really they both look like the same angle to me. So the copper crush washer fits at the shoulder of the fitting right?A copper crush washer goes between the fitting and the box. That is what makes the seal. Also, that fitting looks like a 37* flare, that won’t seal to a 45* sealing surface. Get a copper crush washer and reuse the original fitting.

Where did the new line come from?....I presume you mean hydraulic hose.Hi OK well I put a new PS Pump in and a new line.
...the difference of 8 degrees is not really indistinguishable to the untrained eye on a fitting that size.5.7 is pointing out that your new fitting is a "JIC" fitting with a 37* flare and it's not going to seal to that lines 45* flare. Get a crush washer and put the old fitting back in.
Ok I am concerned about not getting the correct crush washer. I assume it crushed as the fitting bottoms out at the pump. Correct? So any one that fists over the the threads should work?Just get a copper crush washer, tighten fitting, install pressure line, bleed air out of system, enjoy. It’s really that simple.
Those “o” rings don’t last.
