Well, here we are diving into the Dana 60 rear from a 78 Dodge 3/4 Ton truck I'm converting to go under the '66...I believe I HAVE figured out a way to get a pinion snubber on one of these rears for the Exact "Factory look" clone...
Here is the "Open", or "Peg Leg" rear, with the cover off...

Here, I have removed the carrier and ring gear assy..

Here, the "open" carrier sits with the Pinion.(3.54:1) gears..

And here we have the "Sure Grip" unit for the Dana 60..

Finally got the pinion Snubber figured out tonight and ran the Brake Hard lines, as well as replaced the rear brake hose.
The "516" heads showed up today as well..

The silver bullet is one of my favorite mopars. I would love to build a clone of that car one of these days.
 
Yes sir me to i have had two 67 gtx in my life wish i could get one again and build one to that would be very sweet.

Light at the end of the tunnel!

I think I see light at the end of the tunnel. For the past three summers I said "this is the summer I drive it" but maybe at the end of this summer or next. LOL

New 67 - Will Soon Be in My Garage

I bought this yesterday. I love the QQ1 red - same as the Coronet RT I had that recently moved to a new home. It should arrive in a few weeks:

That is a beautiful GTX. It doesn't get much better than that. QQ1 is a good color. I'm working on my second 66 bev 2 383 car that color. I'm now trying to match that color with modern paint.

I love QQ1. My RT was the same color. Danny Keziah matched my paint. I can give you his number if you want.
