Long tube nuts on mancini?

It's after their buisness hours, but I'm just curious as to if anyone knows what the difference between the long tube nuts that they have listed other than the $2 price difference?

some years and models have some spots on the exhaust manifold you can not use a regular nut so it is extended out so you can put a wrench on it

got my answer... one is closed ended, the other is open ended and threaded to mount a heat shield
