Haven't seen one of those in a coon's age! :D

Did you look in the freezer or the fridge again? You know sometimes mind can play trick on us especially at certain age :screwy:
Several times and again just now to make sure lol.

This morning when I opened up the shop, their was an odor but it was more like sewer gas. Thing is, the bathroom is in the clean room and the doors to the bath and that room were both closed and no smell in there. Not smelling anything bad now that the overhead doors are open. However, that smell did make me do another check but again, nothing.

Toilet, sink, floor drains can stink if there’s no water in them. This happened at my MIL’s basement bathroom that hadn’t been used for eons. Poured some water in the drains and took care of the odor.

On another note, had stench going on in one of the bathrooms in our old shop. We thought someone had a problem; but smell just got worse. So did more checking and there was a pail under the sink pipes due to a slow leak there. Pulled the pail out and stench was gagging…there was a bloated dead rat in it. Poison had been set out, rodents search for water after they’ve eaten the stuff..

Prairie dogs will eat just about anything lol

I checked the shop bathroom first thing but knew it wasn't it when I opened the door to the clean room.....which isn't very clean these days but it wasn't stinking. I mowed yesterday and sometimes the mower will pick up or run over something and the new rear tires seem to be debris grabbers. I try not to run over anything and actually stopped for a lizard that was struggling to get out of the way. And it's past time to clean up the shop and see what's hiding dead in the corners. Just about every time I do a major cleaning, I find a carcass of a frog or something and here lately, there's been more than normal. After that last rain, they came out in droves.

Found where the 'bathroom' odor was coming from. If you haven't read post 31 yet.....do so. Came out to the shop this morning and same as yesterday so opened up the front and back roll up doors to let it air out. It was faint but pronounced. Along about noon time a good rain shower came and the wind died down after it ended. About an hour later I went to the beer fridge to get a snack and there's that smell again. That's when I noticed something odd about the trashcan by the milling machine so took a look and there it is. The fridge is pretty close to the mill and is mainly there to catch any cooling/cutting oil that comes off the table. Anyone with a mill knows where the table drains from. I placed the chicken on that little white table in the pic to let it warm up to room temp and have no idea how it ended up in the trashcan. Was only in the middle of my second beer that day and was a good ways from being even tipsy. Usually the sheets that cover the mill also hide the trashcan. Guess that will be the first place to look the next time something just disappears.

I can't recall the last time I was ever let down from nail-biting suspense thriller, on my toes in anticipation..... to an anticlimactic... dud ending....... :poke:

Yeah, I was pretty let down too!! Not to mention I didn't get to grill these after they had been soaking in the marinade I like to mix up. Thought about throwing them on the fire pit tho lol
