Man this freakin" getting old stuff sucks.....

My hair white, beard white, chest white. I need a tan! but they say the ultra Violette rays start bleaching things. View attachment 103864 Oh well, getting old is bound to come and the young guys who like to call us the old farts, i just tell them, ive been where you are now, if your lucky, you will be where i am now, think about it young man, they always have a bit of a concerned look about them. :)
Yup...they all think we're dumb and have no idea and I say the same thing to them and get that blank look. And on the white hair...just shave it all!! :D

I'll be 58 next friday, bad hands, bad eyes, bad back, no L5, gout, allergies, excema. But at least I dont need no stinking blue pills!!!

I just keep them tucked into my socks so they don't drag on the ground.

LOL you crack me up smitty!

My son use to call me "old man". One day I told him I use to change his diaper. One of these days he's gonna get to change mine! He hasn't called me that anymore...

Sounds like some of you older cats have been stricken with a bad case of CRS...

Can't Remember ****......

Three old men meet for breakfast once a week. Today one of them says "My bowels aint been right for years! I'm lucky if i crap every three days!" The second guy says "Thats nothing! I'm on the can 7 times a day!" The third old man says "Thats nothing! I take a dump every morning at six, like clockwork!" His buddy says "What are you bitching about then?" He answers, "I usually don't wake-up till eight!"

As far as the "Blue-Pills" go. Most of us don't need them. Lets attack the issue from another direction. How about one to make my eyes see everything as being thinner, and with a soft-focus lens? Maybe a fun-house mirror on the ceiling for that "slimming" effect?

Getting old sucks..... But the alternative is worse!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 58 and not only the aches and pains are getting to me but also I just don't have the same energy level I used to. I have to make sure I get all my productive work done before 5pm. After that I am running out of gas. And about those little blue pills.....If I was taking those and had an erection lasting more than 4 hours I sure wouldn't seek medical help, I'd be looking for a hooker!!!!

I'd be looking for a hooker!!!!
A grand slam & a Hooker At Denny's...

DENNY’S: HOME OF HOOKERS AND THE MEN WHO LOVE THEM AT local Ladera Heights, CA, Denny’s.

My mom had eye surgery right there in the clinic's office. She came out good. Sure you will to. I know what you mean by getting old. What you used to be able to do all night takes you all night to do. Doesn't California have medical mary jane? Even if it doesn't help, it certainly couldn't hurt.

Yep they do. Me personally I want nothing to do with getting one as it seems once in the data base, you cannot own or purchase a gun. I prefer the "ILLEGAL" side when I choose to partake...

I am 63 years young and gonna hit the next year this coming April. For the most part I have remained relatively healthy. Gave up Smoking a long time ago. Best move anyone can make in my opinion. Got the Gout...been over that since 2007 thanks to daily meds, High Cholesterol...Now under control, and elevated BP...Also under control. Quit drinking pretty much all together...Some Mich Ultra Lite when the Jones hits me and of course a few when playing Golf...Still got a great game in the bag. I am most particular about what I eat so my diet most likely won't appeal to others. No different just prepared and proportioned better. Absolutely no "FAST FOOD". That junk never enters my body. But the Vision thing hit me hard. I wear glasses for reading but my vision has progressed to getting worse. Just caught me off guard. I am going to have the procedure done through my retiree Medical with the Air Force up here at David Grant at Travis AFB CA. I count my blessings that I do have that along with the VA. Most don't even have anything comparable to that type of coverage. Like I said earlier...I revel in getting older and wiser. It is just the DAMN aging that sucks big time. Thanks for the well wishes and thoughts. You all made my day...except that little Curmudgeon RC who always seems to want to put a negative spin on things. I wonder if he in fact really has a life at all. Or is he just a "FREAKING SCHMUCK" by nature. Oh..I woke up this morning with a sizable set and long and hard attitude. And no Blue Pill...BUHHHAAAA!!!!!!:toothy9:

Im 67 this August, still feel the same but just cant take that cold weather and no more turning wrenches just paying to get them turned......

I agree with all the above, the worse thing about the whole deal is see your close friends get sick ,heart attack, cancer, never thought about that part whenI was young?
Bill

Im 48 this year and got diagnosed with RA (rheumatoid artharitus)2 years ago, hasnt slowed me down that much with medication but being a HVAC service man sometimes working 10 to 12 hours a day, kneeling down constantly and up and down basement steps takes its toll once in a while and I will have an attack, never know where or when it will happen.Last one was 3 weeks ago and my right hand and wrist locked up on me,not as bad as when it goes in one or both shoulders.I learned to live with it and have only missed about 3 days work in the last 3 years,my next move will be an inside service manager job but I am going to hang out on the street as long as I can since this type of artaritus gets worse if you dont stay active and sitting inside at a desk for 10 hours will make it worse.yeah getting old sucks but haveing a old Mopar to play with is the best medicine in my opinion.

Hey hey hey, those hippys of the 60's are 60 plus today. I myself feel lucky to have a good doctor that keeps my health in line. I still ride the same Harley that I rode in 1975 but my racers keep getting faster. See you all at the "Spring Nostalgia Nationals". Look for the guy with a bald head, pony tail and usually a Hawian shirt. That's me.

I have a new one....Working on the GTX, console lights not working.... No room, not enough light, & now I need my eye glasses to see the small stuff..Working on it for a while,I get out to relax my aching back....Start up again & can't find my glasses. No luck in the garage, start looking in the house, again no luck... My wife hears me making a fuss.... She comes down to help.... She calls me an idiot ...... I had them on the whole time..........

I'm 55. Yesterday assembled a big cupola and weather vane (flying pig in brass, way cool!) and put them on the garage roof. Too much kneeling on shingles, too much ladder work, too much sun, so today not good for nuttin'. Feeling older than my age. My dad got bad arthritis young and by the time he was my age he had new knuckles, new knees, new shoulders and had had a quadruple bypass. Compared to that, I got nothing to complain about!
