Just moved near Red Wing, MN and am interested in making connections around here. The only event I ever hear about is the annual Stillwater Fairgrounds show.

Which will be back at Farmington in 2025.

Good god why? There's nothing adjacent Farmington to do.
I remember there being more shaded parking areas available there in the past when it was held in Farmington before Stillwater. My guess would be to many people got burned out the last three years.

Interesting reading some of the info on Facebook - No real reason for the move right now , just a lot of speculation

Stillwater was a beautiful area down by the river , food and drinks

Fairgrounds was a muddy , dirty , dusty , open mess - Rain sure in the hell didn’t help

Farmington was beautiful , but I thought it became to small or running out of room was the story

That's the thing about the Stillwater location. There is plenty to go do when you get burnt out on the show. One direction you have Stillwater, Prescott in the other, and from there that great drive down 35 to Red Wing along the river bluffs. The grounds definitely were muddy and improperly maintained though.

Not much for big all Mopar events except for Mopar's in the Park. There are a couple all makes car clubs The Bearing Burners and the Phantoms near Redwing. The Phantoms have an all makes show on Father's Day. Hastings has something every month. Just across the river there is the Beldenville Club car show and swap meet (all makes) in Ellsworth late July, a little farther east in August is the Indianhead car show and swap in early August in Chippewa Falls WI. I believe Lake City has a car show and further south Wabasha also has a car show. There is a swap meet and show in St Charles MN in August. I am usually a vendor at those shows with swap meets.

I bet they moved it to Northfield because they have enough member in Rochester to lobby for the shorter drive. Would make sense anyway.

Uhh, Iola? Probably the biggest show in the country besides Hershey PA. Fonzie comes every year you should too :) Yeah, it is quiet around here regarding other stuff to do, but if you walk the entire swap and show it will take you at least two days.
Not a dedicated Mopar show if that is the only thing you are after.
A bit more of a hike, but there are a couple events at Road America. Haggerty does one I think in May, and then there is vintage race weekend which is badass even if you don't take your car down as a reason to go cruise.

Appleton WI does a fairly decent size show every year. I think there are moderate/shorter shows like that in most of the larger towns/cities in WI. I am sure if you look Eua Claire has one over there close to the main highway corridor from MN. I live on the GB side of the state so I haven't really looked much over there. In my region are Iola and about 7-8 other smaller shows throughout summer so I don't look much further then a half hour drive.

These are all open to the public, non-Mopar specific shows though. I don't know that any Mopar club shows specific like that are in my area.

Dubuque, Iowa has Mopars on the Mississippi. (last weekend of August I believe)

I didn't mention Iola or Jefferson as they are not local to Redwing but they are the two biggest swap meets we have, about 3.5 and 4 hours from Redwing. Iola has about 4000 and Jefferson 3000 vendor spots. Thursday and Friday are the best days for Iola, Friday and Saturday for Jefferson now that Jefferson dropped Sunday. Iola is up and down hills and Jefferson is flat ground. Both have Mopar vendor's. Jefferson, bring your boots, it has spring and fall shows and can get muddy. More good antique stuff Iola in July. Both rent electric vehicles to save on the walking.

Wisconsin Mopar Muscle Club

Wisconsin Mopar Muscle Club. Mostly in the Milwaukee area, so a haul for you. But there's a spring show in June in Waukesha and a summer night show in Brookfield. I drive about 100 miles one way to both of those shows every year when I can make them.

They should have done a awareness run to get that guy charged with hate crimes.

I was told that the roads are freshly paved at the Dakota county fairgrounds. I think overall it is a nicer venue than Stillwater. Too bad it's a lot farther for me, about 50 miles each way..

Yeah it's a haul. I was considering hosting a BBQ this year at our new place near Prescott but I guess that plan is out now.

No, back when they moved from Farmington to Stillwater, the county that owns the park at Farmington jacked the rent. Apparently they want us back.
