Mopar aside...what muscle car would you most like to have?

I would have to say, its my other hot rod that I've owned now for 34 years 1960 Corvette 283/315 Original Fuel Injected Car. 4 speed of course. Other than that how about 1967 427/425 tri power 4 speed Covette Coupe , Goodwood Green with Saddle interior

Let me see, I think my favorite non Mopar I have ever owned was a 65 Corvette 425hp 396ci 4spd, a 69 Z-28 DZ 302ci 2x4bbl 4spd, 65 Riviera GS 425 Wildcat, 65 442 4spd, 71 Vega 427 equipped pro street car, 67 Fairlane 390 GTA, 94 Firehawk SLP Trans Am 6spd, 70 GTO "The Judge" 455 Ram Air IV 4sd {bought new by my step dad}... I have always wanted a 69 Trans Am 455 4spd, 69-70 Boss 302 & Boss 429 Mustang's or a 68-69 AMX 390-401 4spd car, also 60's style 39-41 Ford or Willy's Gasser w/Blown 427 Ford or Chrysler Hemi of course, 427 Corbra... My most fun Non Mopar cars, are a 23 Ford T Altered with a blown injected Big block then latter a B.I. Hemi & a 49 Ford Business Coupe slammed on the ground, tubbed/tinned, full 12 pt w/FC cage, with first a 496ci BBC 2x4 Dominators tunnel/glide & 9" rear & latter a 12:71 Blown Injected Alky 540ci Milidon Mastidon 4spd Lenco w/reverser & Full floating Dana 60, w/17x33's out of my Altered... There is the short list I could go on & on....

I would have to say an Olds 4-4-2 with a 455 and 4 speed or 1987 Buick Grand National GNX

If I cant have my Mopar what would I want ??
First would be a 1969 Boss 429 Mustang
Second the 1970 Buick GSX
Third a 1965 GTO or a 1969 GTO Judge in black
Fourth a 1969 Nova SS 396 with 375 hp
And fith would be a 1969 Mustang 428 SCJ ! Ron

Although I am not much of a ford guy, I have always had a thing for 70, and 73 Mach 1 mustangs. Red and black paint with the window louvers. Screams mullet and smoke pack tucked under sleeve lol

X2. That gen Mustang is awesome as far as looks. The AMC Javelin/AMX is up there too.

Then there's the super random side of my car mania that likes some of the European offerings from the 70s. No, it's not a muscle car, but the Citroen SM is so sleek and unlike anything else. Granted, it's not particularly fast, and maintaining one would be a full time job. But there's nothing like 'em...

A 55 Nomad OR the 57 wouldn't be to hard to take!

This is what comes to mind today.
KID

COPO Carmaro i know a guy that bought one for 800$ around 20 years ago and still has it,missing the orig. drivetrain of course along with a few other things but it's a nice driver.

I hate GM's with a passion the few I had were absolute turds, If i had my choice of non Mopar muscle car I love the 1972 Mustang Mach 1 Yellow like the original "Eleanor" !!!

Ah, yer just sayin that. I thought Eleanor was green. and it was just a made up car for the movie? Is that true?? i really did read that, or seen it on TV... I know of the car your talking about though, my sister had a yellow with black stripes Mach 1 302 auto.. It was a nice car..

If it had to be something other than a MOPAR. A 70 torino cobra 429 2 4s 4 speed.

Boy, this is tough! I have a soft spot for several cars but the one non MoPar that's been on my mind lately is an orange or red 70 Torino GT sport roof with a 4 spd and hideaways. Either a 351C or 429, but must be a 4 spd! I'm really hoping for a 351C because I have a shaker in stock for one!

Others on the list would be (in no particular order):
Starliner or Galaxie with a 406 or 427
70 Mustang fastback
67 Stingray
62 Impala 409 4 spd
55 Chevy gasser
55-57 Ford gasser

And a few moe I imagine....

I had to think a while on this one but think I would look for a 1965 Comet Caliente.

i bought one of them in texas about 6 yrs ago. red with white side stripe, 289, 2x4 intake, edelbrock heads, headers. dam near mint condition. the exhaust would snap.
sales man at the local ford dealer offered me too much money and i had to take it.:headbang:

Still have a 'someday' desire for a '69 Corvette. Had one in my teens.
Think I've finally gotten over my obsession for '66 Chevelles. Had three.
So...that leaves a '65 GTO, 389 Tri-Power, 4-Spd. still on the list!

1970 Boss 302 in Grabber Orange

I came close as I had '70 Grande coupe, but I got rid of it in favor of the '71 Charger I have now. Some PO really screwed that car up and it was becoming too much of a nightmare to fix. :(

Tough to narrow it down but the one non Mopar I look at - and for, all the time is the 61 Impalla - or better yet 62 BelAir hardtop (bubbletop). 409/4spd of course. From a nostalgic perspective I'd also like to have a nice 67 Firebird 400/4spd. My brother bought one new in 67' and it was the car I learned to drive a stick on....
