Kin to Chevelle Beaumont? if i remember right.. Canada model, back looked like the 66 and 67 chevelle, loved the dash in those..

Hi Ron ,actually it was a 66 Chevy 11 ,the difference was the grill ,and tailights for the pontiac division,i have a pic but not sure how to scan it and post.I think the car your talking about was the Pontiac Beaumont.

I think it was in the middle of the 90s I was so close to buy a Mustang Mach 1 SCJ 4 speed, drag pack, shaker hood, asking price was around $10.000 the car had a paintjob I didnt liked, dash and doors where boatvinyl buckets out of a 1970, still hate myself because I didnt buy it.

Pontiac, ok, I keep thinking just how they resemble our Chevelle, heres a link that may help you, check out the hood you probably could bolt it on a 67 Chevelle lol, 2nd link better. Easy to mix these up, funny how they did these, Pontiac, but looks Chevelle.. go figure! lol.

Add about 20 more cars to the list and I might have all I want.:laughing6::laughing6::laughing6:

This is tough, so many good cars!

For the record, my absolute top muscle car favorite is a 1970 Road Runner with an air grabber. Now I got one and I love it!

But I know, not what was asked. Here are a few of my favorites:

  • 70 Buick GSX - probably one of the finest muscle cars made. Fast and handles.
  • 69 Mustang fastback. I prefer the 69s over 70s 'cause I like the scoop on the side and the 4 headlights.
  • 56 Chevy Belair. Bending the tail light out of the way is cool.
  • 61 Corvette - I like the coves AND the "boat tail" rear. This is the only year with both.
  • 70 Chevelle with cowl induction hood.
And I am sure many more...

Hawk

1. AMX, midnight blue

or
2. '55 or 57 chev. belair, 2 tones.....

33 Willys ,40-41 Wiilys,32 ford Highboy and then some , boy I could have a long list:head_smack:

HMMM lets see

71 Mustang fastback

any Buick GS

68 Olds 442

70 Boss 302

71-73 Riviera

67? Galaxie XLR

67 GTO

70 GTO RA4

70 Trans Am

67 Grand Prix 2+2

77 Pontiac Can Am

and yes, a 70 Chevelle SS 454 LS6

57 Chevy Bel Air, wedge Pro Mod carbon-fiber body for a new project...LOL... Or a nice 57 Nomad Pro Touring style or resto-moded toy...

If we are talking domestic, I'd love an R-code 1963 Ford Galaxie 500, white with red interior.

If foreign models are ok, I'd take a 1965 Ferrari 275 GBT4. Yellow please.

Ok, I'll chime in... love questions like this!
As the original question was what "Musclecar" would I like, that would preclude midyear [63-67] Corvettes and Cobras, cause theyre sports cars.
It would also eliminate the most beautiful car ever produced by a factory, the 63-64 Ferrari 250 GTL [Lusso], as its a GT car.
The 38 Alfa Romeo 8C2900B is right out as its a prewar sports/Gt car.
Cant list the 68 Camaro, 69 Firebird 400, 70 AMX or Shelby & Boss Mustangs cause theyre Pony Cars.
61-2-3 Impalas and a 62 Grand Prix dont count - theyre fullsize.

Sooo, my answer would be a turquoise 64 GTO.
Or a 68-69 Hurst Olds.
