Car Nut, Our local Plymouth dealer supplied a "new" Plymouth every year to the hi school driver ed program from the 50's thru the 90's then the school dropped the program.
I remember it having 2 brake pedals when I was taking the course in the 60's.
Where was this when I took drivers ed.

I've posted a few of current members cars too,
not in this thread, but often...

I prefer "Sir Posts A lot" for me
& I resemble the "post whore" remark,
like @Car Nut too...

I just usually like to post multiple photos per post, instead...
My post count is pretty damn high already
:xscuseless:

my stepdad Bob had a car something like this
57 Fairlane {photo it's not his}

my mom drove a 57 Ranch Wagon

my mom got a 68 Sport Satellite 383 4bbl 4 speed
white top & interior, console shifter, buckets,
dark green exterior "brand new"
Her 1st ever new car, they ordered special from a SF Dealership,
that was a cool car !!
I owned it later
I gave my dad a 71 Demon slant 6, I didn't need,
"we sort of traded cars",
well not really I bought my moms old car, for $1000 IIRC...
He needed a economical commuter, I felt good giving him the car
& I wanted the Sport Satellite, so I got what I wanted too...

It may not been a muscle car so to speck, but it sure ran like one...

THAT is such a beautiful and superbly equipped automobile!
The 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite!
Well equipped with performance and luxury items.
A real great looking car!

Our simulators were gm malibu.

The real ed car was a fairmont- black and silver with red int and pass side brake pedal.

Actually drove pretty good.

I got special instructions to jam the brake when I was the passenger on our first without the instructor drive in the parking lot.

We had Green/Green 68 Olds Cutlass 4 doors. 350/2. Single legger. I am sure.
I already had a license and was going through for the Insurance break because I already knew everything. Instructor allowed me to take the car for a car wash and fuel at the school district building at 12th and Sumner Avenue. One day there were three of us and the Instructor. Old 22 as it was called. Winter. Ice. Car went into a four wheel drifter exiting a refrozen underpass. Lucky to be alive. The **** at the wheel lied when he said he knew how to drive. I was in the back seat with the girl. It was good. Exciting. That was during the Signal 30 era. Showed dismemberments etc. Said "don't". Not much on defensive driving though.
