My 64 Polara Gen3 Hemi Build

Sweet, can wait to see the pics. Expensive is a relative term, but I'm glad people are able to find deals, that is what makes doing this swap semi affordable.

Summit sent me the wrong e brake cables. I had them overnight them for tomorrow so I can get the car rolling.

I still have a pretty significant list of stuff I need, but I am working the list down a little bit at a time.

Out with the old, pulling the motor next week and dropping the stock suspension. Putting up the new K member and front suspension. Should be a good week.

I will take a lot of pics. I would guess this thing will come apart and go back together 5 times before it is complete. The hard part comes next. Next I have to gut the inside, cut the trans tunnel out, get the motor and trans to fit, and build the turbo kit. I bet that with my schedule the car will be done by December..........2015

Off to the shop to pull the motor and swap out the K member and front suspension for the Tubular K stuff.

Now the fun begins

did get anything done. Had family in town. I went to the shop monday and took off the accessories, radiator, etc. I am working late tomorrow, so tomorrow morning I will pull the engine. I will send a pic of the HOLE

Well the motor and trans are out and it is time to start on the tubular k member and suspension.

Waiting on tie rod ends and lower ball joints from PST to install the new K member and suspension. Hopefull next week we will be rolling with the new suspension under it.

Looking forward to seeing the pics.

lower ball joints away from tearing into the K member swap.

I see now they include a grommet for the fire wall....chickenshits couldn't do that from the begining?? Oh well, I used a expandable fire rated seal from racerspartswholesale and it was $$, but good to see they do put a grommet on the harness.

I noticed that right away too! I haven't gotten to the part where I need to stick it through the firewall yet...but that is soon.

I was on vacation last week and haven't had a chance to make any progress. I am looking forward to getting somewhere this week.

Hey, before you get too far in this, let's execute our 'agreement'; me blast the car and parts and put in epoxy primer, you score me that 2011 5.7 w 6spd or automatic!

I haven't forgot about you brother. I am putting the car into the chassis shop right now to get the cage, mini-tubs, and leaf spring relo done. Once I get it all put together and running I am going to take it apart and bring it to you. Timing wise I am just trying to make some progress on it. I may end up just needing to pay you to blast it and primer it. But, I will still help you find a smokin deal on a motor and trans if it goes that way.
