Well we got the motor and trans mated together and the motor mounts and everything are in. We are going to slider the motor in on Monday and make the necessary changes to the floor and weld in whatever we need for support. Monday should be awesome.

thats looking very nice good job , keep us updated good luck :headbang:

LX; not too late to take it all apart, trailer it down here with a VVT 5.7 and tranny, leave it for 1-2 weeks, tell me the color epoxy primer you want; Black, Gray, or White, then come get it all done up nice and right, and a DVD to PROVE it was bare-metal before paint...

I have to put it all together and fab everything before I can take it apart and have it blasted. I just bought a 6.1 last week but it turns out I am going to use it to build my motor. I'm looking for you though, I will find something and it will all work out.

I scored a hell of a deal on a 6.1 so it looks like I am going to build a 6.1 based motor. I am thinking about taking things down a notch. It is a really nice car to be thrashing. I am thinking about building a 426 and calling it good. If it turns out to need more umph I can always put a maggie on top of it and call it good.

ABSOLUTELY DO THAT!! Bored/Stroked 6.1's are unbelievable!! If you're going to set it up to take a SC later you may want to consider a Kenne Belle 3.6 it makes monster power. When my Techco dies on the challenger, that's where i'll land. Awesome build!!! will follow this one too.

The motor is in. I found a huge amount of space where two turbos will fit perfectly

Get me some pics of the mounts, I want to see what exactly the problem is/may or was that we were talking about.

looks like im going to change power train horses again 6.1 with twin 58mm turbos

You change your mind more often than I change undies, lol!!!

then i woukd change them more often. or at least take them to the machine shop and have em hot tanked

We already know you have a car **** problem...now you don't change your underpants every day?

And WTF....what happened that we need turbo's now? At least stick on a big blower instead.

Blowers heat soak like crazy here in texas. I can take the turbos and put them outside the engine compartment and get fresh air for them in one swoop. Turbo's means I can build a small relatively inexpensive shortblock and it will be really mild to drive until the boost kicks in. It will be a super sleeper at that point.

So what are ya sayin' Kevin? LOL!!

Trans tunnel is in and done. The motor and trans are setup in the car.
