I hear you Brother.
The vintage air kit I used just had a piece of metal that you screw and seal over the hole in the cowl from under the dash.
Maybe some future project will be to make a fiberglass enclosure with doors for fresh air, outside air to blower motor, or recirculate cabin air.
Thanks for posting your aftermarket A/C system. Appreciate your feedback on it thus far. Thinking about doing the same for my wife's dart. I'm sold thus far. Pretty neat!
When you call them, talk to Dwight @ x8023. My Dart has a Classic Air system that was installed by the PO. CA doesn't have a DER available for A bodies, at least not for my '68.
wish mine was one of them...
the coronet is looking great!
Panels look great, nice feeling opening the workshop door and seeing a complete car, you can picture your self driving in it.
That's pretty. Just put the photos on the wall and slap that sucker in. I didn't even notice the smooth top (lack of numbers).
Did you get one for an AC car?
I did. Bob spent about 1/2 hour on the phone with me going over not only my application but radiators in general. We went over the differences between copper core and aluminum core radiators. Afterwards I did some more research and in the end called him back and ordered the 3 row max cooling unit.
