If in were you I'd keep what you have till your car is in paint and then decide on your final look. It's a lot different being able to visualize what's on the car once you physically see your car in its final appearance.

I'm lovin the rims. Do they actually make them to fit your car with proper backspacing? I ask because when I was looking for rims I liked a few of their rims but they only had backspacing for modern cars.

yes they do, when the scowl comes out green it will have a new pair of shoes, for the back they have 9.5 which i have now. or 10.5 do you think i can get away with the 10.5 with a 275. it looks right now i got the room.

Did you order them exactly as shown? Still 18 front and back or did you stagger?

I don't see much point upping to 10.5 in the rim unless you want a wider wheel. There's guys running up to 315's in the stock wells (that's pushing it) but you could very safely go to the 10.5 with a 295.

I'm slapping 305's on a 10" if that helps you at all

Man, they only had ricer backspacing when I looked at them. Great to here they now offer rims for our cars too. I'll answer your rim width question by saying I would never run a 275, these are Mopars for crying out loud...... fill them tubs! I'm currently running 285s with plenty of room, 295s next time around.

Go 295's on the rear!! You won't regret it...

I've seen these wheels before and don't think these will fit because of the backspacing they use a for modern cars, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe you can go for custom wheels. I'm saving for Bonspeed wheels. 10x19 for the rear and 18x8 for the front...

If it's anything like I just went through with Billet Specialties there was a lot of information required to order the wheels. Not much difference there from 69-70 so I may already have some information they are looking for. You can definitely get 295's on the 10. 5

Update....I just ordered all the metal from AMD. Waiting on modern muscle to get back to me about the street lynx. Hey goon I will get with you before I pull the trigger on wheels. Looking at show wheels an Billet specialties. I was cleaning the front suspension and was looking at the Trans at how smooth the casting is. Took a little 2000 to her an only 5 min it started coming around. I did this on my turbo car I told myself I would never do it again. But I might have to do it you can see the reflection of my haND lol.....I'm gonna need theropy after all this is done....

Yes I got all 4 wilwood disc. Ordered 6 piston calipers for front 4 piston in back

I just got the 12.25 rotors...I didn't think I needed the bad boys 13 an 14 inch for the money difference.

Fact is the lineup of baddass rides will just get better and better through the years. Add Kahn and hemirunner to the mix and you have a group of cars that will make ppl stop and stare!!

well i got all my metal and all new glass set, hell i even got the backordered parts all in one shot. theres a chance it might not make nationals cause my body guy might get the car in a little sooner. and the SCOWL is coming back home from a little cosmetic surgery, hope to have pics up tonight. i got high hopes.

That's awesome, I'll hate having to wait another year but if it means getting started sooner I'll just have to wait to see it. I remember my Dakota looking just like that..... huge AMD boxes stacked way high haha, good stuff!
