my 70 barn find

i know there will be some people on here that won't like this so it won't kill me if you don't like it. the pic of the front spoiler is not in final placement. the rear spoiler i think is over the top, can't wait to take it on a autocross track. you guys that are familiar with a 70 gtx/rr/ss front bumper if you look at it straight on the bumper actually sweeps back an angles up. now to get all those angles and keep the bottom level took some time an challenge. a lot of going back an forth to the brake, and finally had to do some relief cuts an welding. i think they did a fantastic job. once i get it where i want it will look exactly like the rendering. this is just my opinion the back spoiler looks badass an ready for business. anyways heres the pics.......and still counting down.
p.s. oh yeah hey dev don't forget your car is badass too with a bunch of cool 747 touches. it will be so cool if we were all lined up at a show together seeing what we all accomplished.

Is that front bumper finerglass or just painted?
Brand new rechrome bumper, got the painters tape on for rocks an bugs. Both spoilers are made out of aluminum. The plan is to sand an polish to match the new bumpers. Thanks M.

well it was a nice day so took off to blackhawk farms, and look what was there....SOME AMERICAN MUSCLE. met MOPAR-MITCH out there as well. super nice guy an can't wait to see his challenger. got some good feedback on the car which is always nice to hear. here is just a couple pics i took.

It's going to look very Trans Am series racecar. Love that approach! Assume your roads are pretty good that you won't be scraping that nice front spoiler up all the time?

thanks goon, that kinda what I'm shooting for is the racy look. when i was at blackhawk farms they saw the motor an crapped there pants an didn't even know what class i would be in. one guy said you would start a whole new class. there was some cool cars out there. that challenger had close to 600 fuel injected 440 stroked motor. sounded good. so mon morning i will start the kenne bell twin screw fund. that should bump the little semi to 650 at the crank. I'm getting impatient bad.

well having a little time with the hotrod and this polishing is getting old. gotta long way to go to where i want it but it is getting there slowly. i also picked up another fender for the driver side. this is got to be one of the best i have seen. it is completely rust free. my body guy will be happy with this one. thats where were at so far. watching the calendar for aug or sept. the scowl is starting to growl i think its ready for the transformation too...lol

I guess you "Got Boost" now!!
not yet, but when she goes together next spring and summer the whipple is going on. GOT BOOST.....just has a beautiful sound to it. I've had 3 boosted cars, might as well go for 4. thanks mike

thanks dev, I'm just getting impatient, just like everyone on here you want everything right away, just got to take a deep breath and enjoy the build.

Man ! Your Roadrunner looks like one perfect build. From A to B, Bumper to Bumper, I love this car. So much inspiration for my build !

After you drive her for a bit what do you think of the combination of the RMS front suspension with hotchkis for the rear ?

Great idea to supercharge the Hemi ! Why did you choose whipple instead of magnuson ? Do you think a gen 3 Hemi with a supercharger on top would fit under the stock hood of a 69 Charger ?

Thank's and keep on going on this mad build !

thanks elliot, i like the RMS front a lot, the hotchkis rear is good, no body roll, but its kinda a stiff ride. i cannot lay into hard out of first. NO TRACTION. I'm hoping with the street lynx i will have a little tuneabilty and way better traction. i did some research and seems like the whipple people say that there are really good tunes and works great with the HEMI. plus i bought most of my parts from extreme modern muscle and that is what they carry as well. that is where I'm getting mine from. I'm not 100% positive but i would think it would fit under your hood.
the car goes in sept. some time get dismantled. i will post as progress continues....thanks again, USAROADRUNNER
