My hood latch won't lock in?

Think left and right makes a huge diff.

I'm doing final details on my 66 Charger build, And no matter how high or low I put it, It doesn't latch. It worked fine before the build. Any Ideas?

All good advice but I would start by simply using a screwdriver or by hand and close the latch
Lever and see if it locks closed. Do this without closing the hood if it latches up doing that then it’s for sure an adjustment issue.

Yes wd is not a lube.

I didn't use WD I used 20W oil

Shooting ideas out there can do wonders when someone is in a pinch.
I had something similar happen with my 66. This is a good site. Lots of folks that like to help with the ideas they have. Makes the tasks easier.

Awsome to hear remember a quarter inch is perfect on these old cars its all the lines for the body and the motor backing it up.
