Well I got the motor back in..started right up. Started getting the transmission filled. Started her up like 4 times and then the starter quit engaging.........new starter. Newly rebuilt trasmision. New torque converter. Everything is under warranty so hopefully nothing major. Hopefully just a faulty starter. Battery was fully charged. Turned the motor over by hand and I smacked the starter around still not engaging...no grinding noises were being made. I'll pull the starter off later and let you guys know what I find.

Sweet them china starters are junk I got one once started car once that's all it had in it ! When they test them after rebuild they have no load on them

I did get the one bad one out and I'm picking a new one up in the morning. I was just going to replace that one and If more turn out to be bad i was going to pull the engine and do them all..
When I got the one out there's alot of nasty behind it...
There you have learned.

Any recommendations on a brake booster and master cylinder setup

Are you looking to stay with the OEM style booster or looking for the smaller aftermarket type. When I was doing my restomods last year there were none available from the parts stores so I had Booster Dewey rebuild my original unit. They did a great job, he s just up the coast from you.

I'd be happy with either at this point.
