It will be fun.I bought this car a couple days ago. Rats ate wiring. Old owner bypassed "some stuff" and got it running soon found blowen freeze plug then the car sat acouple years then I bought it.
I just got it running the water is coming out of the back left of the motor hard to see exactly where. Any advice is appreciated.
I'll post more as I just into it

That would be a problem heck I am going to try my original starter it only has 27k on it but is also 48 years old lol have more faith in that one than this junk they make now.The metal sleeve came loose and got all chewed up

There you have learned.I did get the one bad one out and I'm picking a new one up in the morning. I was just going to replace that one and If more turn out to be bad i was going to pull the engine and do them all..
When I got the one out there's alot of nasty behind it...
I'm having a hard time finding a decently priced oneAny recommendations on a brake booster and master cylinder setup
I'd be happy with either at this point. Are you looking to stay with the OEM style booster or looking for the smaller aftermarket type. When I was doing my restomods last year there were none available from the parts stores so I had Booster Dewey rebuild my original unit. They did a great job, he s just up the coast from you.
