Need to open up my outside rear wheel well a little

I saw Foose do this with a finished car. With the wheel on and on the ground he used a piece of 1/4 inch bar stock and slowly massaged it out. He taped the area that touched the wheel well. I think he started in the middle and worked his way out. No paint issues. Seeing how you only need an 1/8 inch, this could work. Better than a BFH any day.

It was way more than a 1/8th of an inch, once the car ws sitting down on all 4's. It took quite a bit of stretching to get it to fit and now I got about 1/4" on the outside.
I tried the rolling trick and that worked for the very low part of the wheelwell but it really needed a lot higher up in the wheelwell.

Here's the finished product. All 4 wheels and tires replaced. Maintenance is key to avoid costly accidents.

Enough to give other street cars in my area a BROWNEYE.

My mistake. A black eye.:jerk:

Doesn't sound like there's much of a street presence there. Not like the street cars of New York where we know how to make power.
But you don't go outside much. What's up with that? :jerk::jerk::sign10:

Looks great. Do you have a picture of all your cars together? Will they even fit in one picture? lol

I've seen Chip Foose take a 2x4 and pry the fender out on Overhaulin', can't remember which show, but it worked.

You must have watched the same episode, looked good afterwards.

This could be an all time favorite.
