New mopar restoration TV Show

I just emailed the producers to see if they would be interested in restoring "Agent J" lol

Here is their response to my inquiry

Hi Tem,

Your car sounds like a perfect candidate for GYC. I will keep your email and number right on hand for future episodes.

Currently we are marketing our show to multiple networks and have not found a home yet. If you have a facebook account please find us and join our fan club. Some people are writing speed channel with the request to put us on.

As far as who pays I do charge my clients for the restoration but consider myself far more affordable than any of my competitors. Plus once we get picked up I will have even more latitude to help the regular guy out who needs his car restored but can't afford the big buck resto.

I'm a Mopar lover through and through and it's more about bringing the carz back to their former glory then the money. The money is a necessity, I'd do it for free if I could.

Go Mopar!

Thank you for your support,

Mark Worman

...well maybe the show will get picked up and after a season he'll be able help subsidize the cost of the resto...every little bit helps...

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to tell you thanks for letting Graveyard Carz into your Mopar family. There is a lot of great stuff on this site so I look forward to checking it out and jumping in on a few threads...

I appreciate so much what you have all said here on this thread. I also know that the drama thing is a little heavy in the 8 minute trailer, however, in the full pilot which hasn't been aired yet, the drama plays only a small role. It is real so I didn't want to try to hide the regular interaction between all of us. Your comments are always welcome and together we can make a great Mopar show that hopefully anyone would want to watch. Keep the suggestions coming.

I will notify everyone when we have a contract in place and time spot.

Thank you again fellow Mopar folks.

-Mark

Got my Vote, anyone who can take a car that looks like a piece of tin foil crumpled up and turn it into a show piece. That Talent and a true artist.
The Speed channel need to clean up their line up anyways. i.e. Unique
whips, That show and others like it needs to like go away.

Yeah, Unique Whips is so lame, and so long in the tooth! I like the idea of this kind of show; GYC! I support and would watch this show! My GTX is a definite kind of car on that show! :)

Welcome aboard Mark from Graveyard Carz. I found this site b/c of Darius' posts regarding stiffening his B Body. I don't go to too many BBS places, and decided that this was one of three that I visit, the other two are motorcycle ones! You are right, there are many good ideas on this site, and many good people who aim to keep their MOPARS on the road, and, like me, get them on the road! Plus, this site lets me put up car ****, and progress my own personal graveyard resurrection of my Rhode Island based 69 GTX which served it's life on salt infested roads, and was driven and rode hard! There are not too many insane people willing to wrench on these hulks.

Oh yeah, check out my 69 RoadRunner in the weeds thread on this BBS, it's down the road from me, untouched, rusting away in need of a total rebuild, and, it's a super rare color too!

Welcome Mark. This is a good place, and a bunch of us (including your's truly) wrote to SPEED suggesting they pick up your show. It's about time MOPARS got the respect they deserve.

We all need to flood their email, ...as Mopar Guys we need this ,.... I'm sick and tired of watching Chip Foose customize Fords and Chevys, ............No offense Chip.

Def. flood their e-mail!! good show old chap! But bite your tongue, man!!! Don't get me wrong, Foose does do some cool sh*t, but i wouldn't let him within ten feet of any MoPar!! rusted or not!! SAY NO TO DUBS!!!! :rolling::rolling::rolling:
