Hi there, pleased to meet your acquaintance, I'm new here on the B body forums.

I'm a young guy, hoping to learn and grow on tinkering with these old Chryslers/Dodges that were long here before me.
I have an interest in C body/full size/ forward look Chryslers/Dodges, but really A/B body, same happy big Dodge family!

Hoping to get along with all of you here B body veterans!

Hello, In fact yes, I do have a project that I have been working on for the past few months or so, long story short, I've been daily driving my Dodge for about 10 years or so and the transmission started having some issues, que the transmission rebuild.
Anywho, started rebuilding the transmission a few months back, due to rising complications the Engine needs to be removed for a block crack repair.

I've narrowed down the equipment I'll need to repair the block, I believe the company was named "Lock-N-Stitch" to repair the crack.

Few weeks back, there was a cold snap here in Texas, I drained the water/coolant from the radiator but have forgotten to remove the block water jacket petcock, hence the cracked block.
My costly mistake.

Here's the steed that I've been daily driving to college back and forth.

Thanks for the welcome!

Sorry about your setback on the block. Looks like a good cruiser.

Thanks, I realize a Forward look Chrysler isn't exactly the place for a B body forum, but needed to create an account to get in touch with a member here that has a rebuilt 361 for sale, hence why the recently created account.

Welcome! And good luck with your repair. Might want to check the block on the inside also.

Thanks for the welcoming!
If I get the block crack repaired, I'll bestow the name of lance on the 361 lol.

Check the Inside of the block as in, removing the pan and checking the mains and that sort of check?

Thanks.

Welcome.

I remember a Sir Dodge alot on this forum many years ago. I assume he's no longer a member?
