I'd bet if I had my old 23 Altered I could...LOL.... I'd love to try anyway... a little problem with having enough funds thou...

LOL..... anyone can boost an engine .. I'm not impressed to be honest. All you need are forged internals, fuel system, turbo system, intake air cooling system, engine management (ecu).
Piece of cake.... oh wait.. and the pockets deep enough to do it. :)

yea yea I know... but I see these things all day long and boosted engines don't float my boat nor do they take a lot of skill to make hp with. Just not impressed by them at all. I'm an all motor guy.

They may not impress you, and that's ok, but what I like about them is they are a truly a "have your cake and eat it too" combination. They build 3x the HP with much less camshaft than a big NA HP engine. You can build in stone cold reliability and still make big HP numbers. Add EFI and you have multi-fuel capability. Want 1500hp and wanna drive it to work every single day? Not a problem and it will still get respectable mileage if you keep your foot out of it. It's big power that's still easy on the bottom end. I've watched boosted cars drive to the strip, click off high to mid 8's and drive home, with the A/C and stereo on and the cruise control set. I'm a big fan of turbo cars........

That's awesome...and I agree with hemirunner, turbos are where its at. Easy to build like you say but you better have the air fuel ratios and tune. I built a small 2.0 neon r/t super 20g turbo. Low 12s and it wasn't even radical. Still got 28mph on the highway if you stay out of boost.

Some Grade-A engine **** right there. And check out what she's going in :eusa_drool:

When you get up around the 2000hp range, it takes whole allot of skill, on any engine combo, to make them even stay together, let alone "live for an extended period of time", especially under high boost....
