The awful sound of the car sounding grate then that loud Burrrrr. Growling sound or hear something dragging the road under the car. I even ran over one time when it broke or failed. Not a good thing for sure. That is where a roll of bailing wire comes into play in the toolbox.

I have to admit that I have also had a muffler break on me similar to @PlymCrazy 's, and when he said there were answers that were close, I looked back and saw that no one had said muffler yet. So here we are, waiting for a pic of an orange Roadrunner to show up or that bad boy is going on my desk. You'll be able to tell it's a 4-speed by the sounds I'm making!

Welded it. Held up great the last few years. Hoping to replace them both soon though.
