I have to admit - I had to look. Yes, the mic is a D-104. I got it from my late step-father-in-law before he passed along with the Herschede 1918 compass in the wood case next to it. It looks mid-century to me. What can you tell me about it?

only thing I know is they were a popular mic among base station CBers in the 70s........ I was into CB radios as a kid...... a D104 was the Hemi of microphones
 
It is. I'd love to have the back story on that.
I have several different types and scrapers that my Grandpa and found on the homestead when they moved to eastern Saskatchewan from Kennebec S.D. In 1908. Dad found some and arrowheads. I even found a hammer in the 60’s. Don’t know what I will do with them.
