Oil changes, what do you use?

Just trying to get a feeling on what you all run.

Oil type,
Oil weight, (including where you live)
Filter used,
Any aditives you like to mix into the formula.

So you prefer the signature synthetic to the zrod?

Zrod didn’t have the 10-40 weight when I looked. Gonna stay with what’s been used for ten years.
0-40 in the Hellcat and 0-30 in the 5.7’s.

What kind of pressures are you getting on them and how many miles on them?

Solid flat-tappet RB engine, I run my main clearances on the looser side .003 minimum. Driven HR1 15w-50 when it warms up May through October, HR5 10w-40 November through April. I do 4 oil changes a year because it's dusty and dirty here especially during the dry months. I used to use the Valvoline VR-1 but I started noticing that it "wore out"/thinned quicker than the more expensive stuff. I could see the slight pressure drop after the first few hundred miles....I guess it's cheap for a reason LOL.
I ride my stuff pretty hard; bearings and lobes are always good at tear-down time. Driven's good stuff, no need for additives. It's generally regarded as preferable to have the additive package blended at the time of manufacture anyway as opposed to adding it afterwards.
WIX 51515 filters exclusively ($7-$8 at my local O'Reilly's.) The only other filter I'd even consider is a Motorcraft, just have to spray paint over the logo..

Disregard first. Adequate oil pressure in 440. Quiet. Over 80k on a tired motor.
Hellcat is a baby just 6k.
Don’t know about the 5.7. It purrs and no Hemi Tick at start up. 59k on that one.

With the wide selection of PROPER high zinc SAE oils out there, you should NOT put Rotella in your gas engine. Rotella is designed and formulated for diesel engines, not gas engines...

Take your pick, there's plenty of options but I refuse to buy into the high dollar BS brands. You can stock up on Lucas additives and buy standard oil or buy good oil. I've used a few but am running Sheaffer oil now, I noticed a more stable oil psi once warm compared to the others. I just run 10W30 like most motors call for and carry 50-60 psi.. I only run WIX filters on my classic.

Buying three cases of PennGrade hurts.. just did that. 10/30 for the Bee, 10/40 for the Dart and 20/50 for the Bird. $579 Canuck bucks for 36 quarts.

The wife & son's Subaru's get Mobile 1 0-20, The Durango 5.7 200K gets Castrol GTX 10-30. The Satellite gets PennGrade 20-50. Been using the NAPA/Wix filters on everything for a few years now. I do still have a couple 35 year old Fram HP-1's around in case I can't find a Wix 51515R for the Satellite.

The muscle cars get Rotella 15w40 with some zinc additive, wix or hastings filters. The Ram, Durango, and Jeep get Castrol GTX and mopar filters
