Watching this right now, I think I haven’t seen it since the 70s when I was little. Appropriate for the day.

We are near the tail end of the Lonesome Dove trilogy.

Streets of Laredo
Lonesome Dove
Return to Lonesome Dove

Caught 2 of TCM's Thursday Halloween specials-

The 1935 "Bride Of Frankenstein" (which was surprisingly good with also surprisingly good effects considering the time).
The final "mad scientist" scene is GREAT if you like period electrical gadgets.

and "The Other" from 1972. The host used the word "smart" to describe it and it was pretty "smart".
I remember seeing part of it when I was about 10-12 on TV and getting creeped out. I think my mom turned it off after the pitchfork scene.
Cameo role by John Ritter, Directed by Robert Mulligan (Soap's Richard Mulligan's brother)

"The Molly McGuires".

After watching an episode of "Finding Your Roots", where one of the guest's ancestors were linked to the infamous Molly McGuires from the Pennsylvania coal fields in the 1870's I remembered as a kid, seeing a movie by that name in the theater. I was able to find it on Apollo and viewed it recently. Even my wife enjoyed it (she usually doesn't care for "old" movies). Made in 1969, starring Sean Connery, Richard Harris and Samantha Eggar.

Watched the "Matrix" the other night, as it's brought up in so many podcasts. A lot of similarities to concepts happening, but Not much on entertainment value...

Ichabod Crane, animated version.
Halloween tradition with my daughter, but it sucks that she’s 1500 miles away.

I watched Bandolero (?) last night
with Dean Martin & Jimmy Stewart as bros.,
with Rachel Welch
(Deans love interest, everyone wants her, she was taken as a hostage, by the gang)
George Kennedy as the sheriff, wants Rachel too
A western where Dean was supposed to be hanged with his crew,
Jimmy was his brother impersonating the hangman,
that helped them (Dean's gang) get away from hanging, break out of town
& then Jimmy robbed the bank, when everyone left to chase them...
they get chased into Mexico & the banditos kill most of them
I won't give it all up, spoil it... good flick
