pertronix vs factory electronic

I have the Pertronix Ignitor III (in the car when I bought it). The guy I bought car from had the red MSD blaster 2 coil…I switched that out for the black pertronix coil, peeled off the label and affixed the date coded dry rub stencil for it, so at least it looks a little closer to stock.

I have the Pertronix flame thrower Ignitor II D143700 complete distributor and coil on my 65 and it runs great. I had one on my 64 Pontiac it ran great as well.

I got the stencil from ECS…it was pretty easy to put on, just peel it slowly

I ran a pertronix in my boat, and then got the complete pertronix distributor when I was building my '64... works great and couldn't be happier.
