Price gougers study

I have seven second generation Chargers. I only have one extra pair of 70 fenders on the shelf in case one of the four 70 Chargers gets hit. I have no spares for the two 69 Chargers, and a spare pair for the 68 Charger. I really need to put a pair of 69 fenders on the shelf as well as another pair of 70 fenders, but I am not paying 5k for a pair. I have five 71 Chargers and I have a left fender and two rights,so I could use one more left fender for those. I have a 73 Charger and I have a spare right fender and no left fender in stock,so I can use one of those as well. I wait until I catch a deal on them and pounce on them when they surface.
Cough car hoarder cough cough

Okay now that there's been plenty of good discussion, time for a quiz:

(a) Fair and reasonable
(b) Overpriced but not full-on gouging
(c) SOD = seller on dope

It pays to shop around. The 69 is strong money for what it is, if it is a numbers car and unrestored. The 68 looks like a nice car for the money. Unless you do all the work yourself, you can dump $50 g's into a car in a real hurry.

I wouldn't want to be in the 69 GTX for more than 35k on the buy in. The 68 to me is a $42,500 car. Guestimating without an in person visual inspection.

I saw RC towing his 68 Charger R/T to Carlisle, in Hershey Pa. I I told him that he was king of the Hershey Highway! Lol
