Hey Ron . . . nice of roadrunnerman to send you his tool to remove them, but there is another way ( the poor man's torsion bar removal tool ) . . . I took a couple small pieces of 2X4 and cut a V-groove into them like this . . .

Then you use a couple big clamps and clamp them to the torsion bars . . . and hit the wood ( not the torsion bars ) with a BFH ( i.e. - large hammer )

All the force take it's toll on the wood ( which is good ) and doesn't hurt the torsion bars ( which is also good ) . . .

This is all documented back on page 3 of my build if you'd like to go re-visit it . . . make sure to pull the clips ( I think that is documented too ) and loosen the bolts on the bottom of the LCA as advised by Prop, Roadrunnerman, and the rest of your friends . . .
