Raising Grand kids Any body???

I know we are doing all we can do for them. We keep them as busy as we can with sports and other functions as we can. I can just hope that they turn out good. They go to counseling 5 days a week and I know it is very hard on them because they must feel like they have just been thrown away.

It ain't fun, and it ain't easy, and it ain't cheap. But if we can just put them on a good path, its a victory.

Ronnie; My Dad was killed in WW2 and my brother and I were raised in fostor homes and then spent 11 years in a military school......We felt abandoned but somehow managed to grow up with no real scars. You have served your country and now you have stepped up to a real task raising your grandchildren. I would pursue aid throuh every agency there is.....our Gov is paying strangers money to be foster parents and you should be ENTITLED to aid. God bless you and the family for what you are doing and don't give up just do your best.......I'm almost 72 now and those childhood memories are still with me.....those kids will be your greatest project but also your greatest reward someday. Thanks for your service to our country and God bless.

This seems to be a growing trend and I pray that when my kids reproduce, they're responsible enough to take care of the little crumbsnatchers on their own.

x2. My first is expecting and excited to be a mom and my youngest is carrying a 4.0 in college so I,m pretty sure she will too.
