Hey everybody the car is back together again and man is it a beast. Back in '97 when I got my Cordoba my son called it the Moby Dobie though I don't know why but it stuck. After the test fire and running of the new 440 the Moby Dobie has been transformed into the Cordobeast. With a balanced stock '70 steel crank bottom end, a set of big valve 906 heads with opened and smoothed ports, a 525 lift cam, a Torker II intake, Hooker headers, and a 750 Edelbrock carb it's a far cry from the stock 400 that was in it. I got the tranny rebuilt and put in a B&M 2400 stall converter. With the manual shift valve body and the 3.91 sure grip it's gonna be a hole lot of fun.
My buddy Bill will put some pics. of the finished engine compartment later. Thanks for reading about my car. Bruce:eusa_dance:
