Ready to run dizzy, two wire

hello Folks,

Anyone running a 'new style' two wire electronic Dizzy.
Just bought one to run on our engine 'run-in stand'.

No wiring diagram, just red to coil and black to ground the seller said.
Does this sound OK?

What brand is it. Msd and Mancini sell them but most will have 4 wires. Two to the coil, One ground and One for the tachometer.

The old electronic distributor (often called a dizzy, for those souls that do not know how to spell correctly) conundrum......how to connect two wires....which go to what terminal or source of power or ground or black or red???..... how about a magneto....which require no wire connections...self contained.....WICO was a name brand that was used on early 392 Hemi dragster engines...why not give it a try.....you'll be "shocked" as to well it works......
