He is saying the distributors ground is the distributor housing itself. Grounded by its mounting point to the engine. Completing its path to the negative side of the battery.

Post #21, 100% correct; grounded to the ENGINE. Nacho said ground to the body/chassis, which is different to the engine.

I meant, body/chassis of the dizzy. Just like the wires function are related to the dizzy, not the ones of the car where to connect.
