Rear end value ?

When i bought my 68 coronet 440 model, it still had the original rearend. With 10" drum brakes & 741 case. I've changed it out to a suregrip. Is the original rearend worth anything ( other than scrap ) ? I'm trying to figure out if its worth trying to sell, or if i should just scrap it.

I sold my 741 case with a clutch type Sure-Grip for $600.00. I think the buyer really only wanted the SG.

Try and sell everything you no longer want, unless you just want to keep 'em. I used to keep everything, now I sell it unless I know for sure that I may want/need it. If someone is will to pay good/stupid money for a part, go for it. That's money that pays for something else on the car.

$75-$150

The tough part with those is the shipping costs...if you can sell it locally go for it!
