I think they call them DB2’s, but yes they are BFG Radial TA’s. I put a set of DB2 wide whites on my ‘58 Apache last spring…So, aren't D.B.3's BFG. Radial T/A's?

A buddy of mine had the same issues on his 67 Coronet. He had them balanced and rebalanced multiple times. They still had a vibration on hiway speedsi bought some coker redlines a few years ago. don't drive the car much but it got to where i couldn't drive it above 55mph. worked on everything and as a last resort took the wheels and tires off to rebalance. one wheel now has 8 ounces of weight on it. better but not good. they're not very good tires for the money spent.

225/70x15's. tried to put the car back as it was originally. hubcaps are original. wheel vintique repop wheels, not very good either. ordered a set of tires wednesday and going back to torque thrusts. you just can't beat a one piece wheel. the Wheel Smith is making big center steel wheels for '67 and down large hub cap cars. don't know if they're any good or not.Looks good Lew. After 35 years with the full hub caps on the 67, I’m going to try 500s w/ black walls. Thought hard about going w the Torque Thrust and red-lines too.225/70x15's. tried to put the car back as it was originally. hubcaps are original. wheel vintique repop wheels, not very good either. ordered a set of tires wednesday and going back to torque thrusts. you just can't beat a one piece wheel. the Wheel Smith is making big center steel wheels for '67 and down large hub cap cars. don't know if they're any good or not.
i like the appearance of 500's, especially with redlines, but your back into the two piece wheel thing and the aftermarket people just don't do as good a job as OEM. of course that doesn't mean you can't end up with 4-5 good wheels. just test them for run out and straightness before mounting a tire. i ordered some ironman blackwall gr906 225/70x15's. american made, not expensive, softer tread. for something i only put a few hundred miles a year on i don't need a 50-60 thousand mile tire. After 35 years with the full hub caps on the 67, I’m going to try 500s w/ black walls.
