hi i just went out and bought some 15x 10 pie crust tires for my 1964 belvedere was wondering on what you guys thoughts if i should buy 15x8 or 15x 10 steel wheels to mount them and i have seen some rear r]steel rims on max wedge cars painted 2 different colours was this a factory thing i might consider doing that my car is red so what would be the other colour on the rim be thanks

I believe the split paint on the rear wheels was to watch how much wheel spin was during launch.
Early days of drag racing. I also believe it was the Mopar racers that started that fad.
Other color white. But that's up to you. Be careful as the 62-65 Belvederes stock wheel wells are small.
A 15x8 with a 4 1/2'' back space should work fine.
Last thing to remember is no 2 Mopars are exactly the same as tolerances vary.
Same wheel and tires fit my 65 but rubbed the leaf spring on my 63,only on the passenger side.

15x8s and 15x10s were pretty uncommon when racers were using piecrusts. 15x7 was more common.
That said, a 15x8/8 1/2 is much easier to fit than a 15x10.
I'd chose a 15x8 1/2 or 8, with 4.5 backspace, just like Darter6 said.
