I had some good pictures of that Conoco station on an old style camera. Drove through with my mom around 2006. Sorry you are having fuel leaks. Hope it is something simple like a clamp.

Fuel puke went away. Anomaly. A Body Valiant is a local business man and land owner. Name is Greg. He is West Point. Says his family is all Dodge and they have every car they ever owned. About 80 cars. AC is ice cold in that slant 6.

View attachment 851668 We pull in to Clinton, Oklahoma to see the Museum. The local PD with a couple Charger Patrol cars were making a traffic stop. RIGHT AT the near side driveway. 4 lane, so I drifted left to allow room and Linda says you’re MISSING it. Jesus Chrysler. So we park in the cripple spot
(one of Linda’s horses stepped on her foot 30 years ago, 12 operations later), get out and the guy parked next to me says “you are leaking fuel. I said thanks. We had just fueled up and it was overfilled to the point where I put the cap on to stop it from back flowing. I was talking to a local who stopped to tell me that he has a 69 Bee in his garage. I said, “thanks for letting me know about the fuel and lowered the plate to check the cap. He said, no it’s coming out ahead of the right rear tire. **** me.

Nice sunset. Is TX the home of the dollar store?
He meant either:
Dollar General Corporation is an American chain of variety stores headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. As of July 2018, Dollar General operates 15,000 stores[4][1] in the continental United States.[5]

The company began in 1939 as a family-owned business called J.L. Turner and Son in Scottsville, Kentucky, owned by James Luther Turner and Cal Turner. In 1955, the name changed to Dollar General Corporation and in 1968 the company went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Fortune 500 recognized Dollar General in 1999 and in 2018 reached #123.[6] Dollar General has grown to become one of the most profitable stores in the rural United States with revenue reaching around $21 billion in 2017.[7]

Family Dollar is an American variety store chain. With over 8,000 locations in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington, it is the second largest retailer of its type in the United States. Family Dollar was headquartered in Matthews, a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, until it was acquired by Dollar Tree and headquarters operations were moved to Chesapeake, Virginia. [1]

In June 2014, activist investor and major shareholder[2] Carl Icahn demanded that Family Dollar be immediately put up for sale.[3]

On July 28, 2014, Dollar Tree announced that it would buy Family Dollar for $8.5 billion.[4][5] The sale delivered a windfall to the company's biggest shareholder Carl Icahn, who acquired his 9.4 percent stake in June 2014.[6] On January 22, 2015, Family Dollar shareholders approved the Dollar Tree bid.[7]

On March 6, 2019, the retailer announced that it will close up to 400 stores nationwide due to heavy pressure from an activist investor.[8]

Dennis is like Clint Eastwood riding (or driving) off into the sunset.

"If I had a horse I'd ride off into the sunset where dreams and shadows lie. To a life where pain and sorrow don't exist and to where hopes and dreams become reality." unknown

Best wishes on getting home safely and without any more car problems.
