Cool story and congrats. Thanks so much for the updates and pictures!
When my wife and I renewed our vows in the 50s Diner in Las Vegas, and were staying in our travel trailer on Lake Mead, and I got my Harley-Davidson V-Rod, that absolutely perfectly surfaced and maintained desert mountain road BECKONED me to twist the throttle! Beautiful scenery, exhilarating road to open up on.
New Mexico fact #4: Elevation at 7,199 ft. above sea level makes it the highest U.S. Capital (Mexico City is actually higher @ 7,350 ft)
I thought maybe Trump had invaded Mexico... Instead of the other way around....
Man...I see "Las Vegas" and immediately and only think "Nevada"...He's in NM not NV.
Friggin' priceless. That's like when you're getting ready to pull out into traffic and you look to the right, and they lean forward and look right too and block your view..Trying to follow 66, the Indian Casinos **** ya with Route 66 signs to get you in. Point to something on the road and Linda looks art my finger. WTF. Get off 40, head west, then road ends in a few miles. Turn around and go back to 40.
