those pistons are as smooth as a babies behind. for what they cost they better be perfect.

The photos looked like they had sharp edges, good thing they don't, she sounds badfreakenasstastic too... yeah nothen' like a big camshaft, serious heads, big cubic inches & compression...LOL..

sounds good, gotta love big compression. Budnicks is right, all pistons need de-burring no matter how much they cost.

With 15.5-1 compression what head gaskets hold up to that? I guess O-ring set ups aren't used anymore?

cometics have pretty much replaced o rings.

Absolutely! What I meant was nothing sounds as good as a long duration cam with a lot of squeeze. How do you know when you have too much cam? Impossible, just need more motor. Hope it goes like a bat out of hell.

footbraking this car has a awesome 1.24 60 foot consistently and usually 1.31 on the back tires. its one hell of a ride and now i'm trying a radial slick for the 1st time 30 x 10.5 going from a 31 x 10.5W.
