I got all the spots of outer panel rust welded up and blended, and ready for final prep work. I plan to do a fade from metallic grey to black on the lower sections of the van. I got the side pipes on too. I took the van to my friends Mopar cookout on Saturday and to the Mopar show at Lebanon Valley Dragway on Sunday. It was the only van at the show. It was cold out in New York and there was snow flurries too. We set up our folding chairs in the van and drank beer, shielded from the cold winds! I drove the van on the road for the first time, and it drove and shifted well. I think it will need a new alternator, and the turn signal lever needs to be replaced,before it is ready for the road. Most people really liked seeing the van, but the usual free candy jokes were flying as people checked it out ! Do you think it would be inappropriate to give out Halloween candy from the van? Lol!
