Interesting discussion. But in reality how often do engines built to the same specs, in cars built the same way, run identical times. To me there are too many variables in drivers, the cars, track lane conditions, and weather conditions that would affect the times. Now with that answered, why did the chicken cross the road? To prove to the squirrels it could be done of course.
I agree as even with everything identical I still have never seen two cars run the same et to the letter. How many beers did he have when he was telling the story ? Not knocking the guy but I don't buy it about the same et's. It just don't happen. It reminds me of a guy who works with my son who was said to be a big muscle car guy who raced many back in the day. After he spoke about 4 sentences to me I knew his stories were not true as I had heard his same story before to many times. Ron
